MoodWell is a mood tracker that allows you to maintain a private journal of how various activities and weather changes impact your mental health. This user-friendly diary provides valuable insights into the activities that make you feel your best and those that may have a negative effect.
We recommend logging your mood at least once a day, ideally 2-3 times. Be sure to log any significant changes in your mood and identify the factors that contribute to those changes.
With MoodWell, you can select from a color-coded list of moods and add optional positive or negative emotions you may be experiencing. You can also record your activities and even describe the weather if desired. Furthermore, the ability to attach photos and notes allows for a more comprehensive log.
MoodWell utilizes the recorded moods, activities, and weather data to generate insightful statistics on your mental health. The graphs and calendar visually represent how your mood fluctuates over time. After recording a few times, you will gain valuable insights such as which weekdays or months you tend to feel your best or worst, which activities are associated with positive or negative moods, and whether weather conditions impact your mood.
In addition, the color-coded Year in Pixels chart provides a comprehensive overview of how you have felt on every single day throughout the year, reminiscent of an old-fashioned diary.
These insights offered by MoodWell aid in understanding your mental health better. The app also features a powerful search function that allows you to search for specific items using hashtags. For instance, "#n" will find all logs with notes, while "#awful" will retrieve logs with an awful mood.
